Sharing A Green Shipping Future! SunRui Hosts Successful 2023 Tokyo Ship Decarbonisation Technology Forum

On 29 May, SunRui successfully held the 2023 Tokyo Ship Decarbonisation Technology Forum in Japan. Mr Sheng Jigang, Vice President of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, SunRui chairman Mr Wang Qihong and Mr Fu Hongtian, General Manager of SunRui attended this event. More than 230 experts from famous shipowners such as NYK, MOL and K-Line, important shipyards such as Imabari shipbuilding, Oshima shipbuilding and Nomura shipbuilding, and shipping-related organizations such as NK Classification Society attended the event.

Mr Sheng Jizang extended a warm welcome to the guests and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Japanese friends who have long been concerned about and supported the development of SunRui. He also expressed his appreciation for SunRui's product development and market exploration in the field of environmental protection equipment for ships and hoped that the company would take clean energy and low-carbon ships as its grip and lay out various blue ocean fields such as electrochemical fuel supporting technology, biofuel supporting technology and carbon capture technology to provide more complete solutions for the green transformation of ships for Japanese and global ship owners.

Mr Wang Qihong said that SunRui has become a well-known Chinese manufacturer in the field of high-end environmental protection equipment for ships in Japan over the past 10 years, taking the Tokyo office as the fulcrum and making efforts in the front-end marketing, middle-end technical support and back-end after-sales service. In the future, SunRui will follow the development trend of clean energy vessels, invest more in new product research and development, accelerate the upgrading and iteration of existing products, and continuously improve service efficiency to provide Japanese customers with better products and services.

Afterwards, experts gave keynote speeches on the interpretation of IMO's policies on the decarbonization of ships, shipowners' options to meet the requirements of the relevant regulations, and the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of alternative fuels for ships. They also exchanged and interacted with the audience, which aroused the resonance of the participants.

 

SunRui participants gave a detailed introduction to the product system, R&D history, functional advantages and future layout of the GasLink® marine clean fuel supply system. The attendees highly praised SunRui's efforts and achievements in the field of green shipping and said that the series of marine clean fuel supply systems launched by SunRui fully met their requirements in terms of operational stability, safety and economy. They also looked forward to more extensive and in-depth cooperation with SunRui in the fields of BWMS, EGCS and marine clean fuel supply systems in the future.

 

SunRui has been deeply involved in the Japanese market for many years. Up to now, SunRui has signed orders for nearly 1000 sets of BWMS, EGCS and FGSS products with customers in Japan, and has established close and in-depth strategic partnerships with many shipowners and shipyards. The company has become the manufacturer of ballast water treatment equipment with the highest market share in Japan and is also the manufacturer that has signed FGSS orders with Japanese shipyards and shipowners.
