Metal structures in seawater cooling water system are prone to electrochemical corrosion in seawater environment. In order to inhibit electrochemical corrosion, active metals can be used as sacrificial anode materials to provide protective current to metal structures through the consumption of anode materials, so as to achieve the effect of corrosion inhibition.
The protected structures in the seawater cooling water system include pipes, water pumps, condensers, filtration equipment and other auxiliary equipment. According to different materials of protective structures, the application of anode is as follows:
Carbon steel material: aluminum anode
Stainless steel, copper and other materials: iron anode
